The iWISE Virtual Final Qualification Round is an exciting and inclusive preliminary stage that gives students the opportunity to showcase their creativity, innovation, and skills on a global platform. As the first round of the competition, it provides young innovators with a valuable opportunity to demonstrate their abilities and qualify for the iWISE Global Final.
The mission of the iWISE Virtual Final is to provide students with an international online platform to showcase their creativity, innovation, talent, and problem-solving skills. Through this preliminary qualification round, students have the opportunity to present their projects live to expert judges via Zoom, receive valuable feedback, and demonstrate their potential to advance to the iWISE Global Final, where they can compete on an international stage.
The iWISE Virtual Final functions as the initial online phase of the competition, providing students with an opportunity to qualify for the iWISE Global Final. The process includes registration, project submission, a live presentation, a live judging session, and the announcement of results.
Students may register for the Virtual Final individually or participate as a team of up to three members. The presentation and judging time slot will be the same for both individual participants and teams.
Each submission will be allocated a minimum of 30 minutes for the presentation and judging process. During this session, participants will present their project to the judges and answer questions about their work.
Students who receive a Bronze, Silver, or Gold Medal will qualify for the Global Final. The judges’ decisions will play a key role in determining which participants qualify to advance to the Global Final and have the opportunity to represent their country on the global stage.
The Virtual Final registration fee is charged per submission, meaning the fee applies to each individual participant or team submission, rather than being charged per team member. The registration fee is non-refundable.
The iWISE Virtual Final fee, which is the full registration fee without any discount, includes the physical medal awarded to the participant, as well as the shipping costs for delivering the medal to the participant’s school address or the designated country representative’s address.

Therefore, Gold Medallists must complete their registration for an iWISE Global Final within this 30-day period to receive the discount.
All participants will typically receive a Participation Certificate.
Participants who achieve outstanding results, including medal recipients or those who attain top positions, will also receive an Achievement Certificate recognizing their exceptional performance.
Qualified participants will additionally receive an official Qualification Letter confirming their eligibility for the iWISE Global Final.
