Dr Ian Gross

Ian was appointed Principal of The Worthgate School in August 2023. With over two decades of experience in senior academic leadership, he has worked at prominent international schools across Bahrain, Thailand, Egypt, Argentina, and Malaysia. He holds a Doctorate in Education (EdD) and an MA in Educational Leadership and Management from the University of Bath, as well as a PGCE in Secondary Science from the University of Greenwich. Ian is also a Fellow of the Chartered College of Teaching (FCCT) and has contributed to international education through his work with CIS and FOBISIA.

As a member of the iWISE Advisor Board, Ian brings his extensive international leadership and educational experience to iWISE’s mission of empowering young people, inspiring them to reach their full potential, and creating meaningful opportunities for personal and academic growth.
